EVF, USA National Meet in San Fransisco held on September 24 & 25 2005


 National Annual Meet of Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation of USA was held 23rd to 25th September 2005 at San Francisco, USA.

Approximately 70 Participants from various regions of USA and 13 delegates from India participated in the Meet. 

Ma. Shyamjee Gupta, Sri Satyendra Prakash, Sri R. P. Khaitan and Swami Satchidananda were main delegates from India. Progress Report of 2004 - 2005 was presented and discussed in addition to new strategies for expansion of Ekal Vidyalaya Movement. Further details are awaited and will be published in next issue of Ekal Newsletter.

Arogya Yojna

Past Event:
A Medical Camp was held on October 2, 2005 at Calicut, Karnataka (India) in association with Rotary Club. Approximately 3000 patients were attended and the Medicines were distributed. Dr. H. K. Mittal, Arogya Yojna Coordinator was the Chief Guest of the camp. Further details will be published in next issue of Ekal Newsletter.

A Naipunya Varga is going on from October 4 to 10,2005 at Bharat Hospital - Kottayam, Kerala (India). 15 Supervisors of Arogya Yojna are participating in the Varga.

Upcoming Event:

  • All India Samanvay Varga on 10, 11 & 12 November, 2005 at Agroha Dham, Hissar district of Haryana (India). Approximately 500 persons will be participating in the Varga.
  • Naishnatya Varga of Arogya Yojna during November 15 to 20, 2005 at R. K. Puram, New Delhi (India). 

 

Inauguration of the website of Youth For Seva

Progress of Gram Vikas Yojna - The backbone of Swavlamban project


Past Event:

8, 9 & 10 September 2005 at Vardha - Maharashtra:
Total number of Participants were 21 from Tamilnadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka & Maharashtra attended this camp at Vardha at Mahatma Gandhi Gramin Udyogikaran Sansthan. 
  
15, 16 & 17 September 2005 at Chapa - Chhattisgarh:
Total number of participants was 50 from North East, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Orissa, Chhattisgarh & Mahakaushal. It was held at Bhartiya Kushtha Nivaran Sangh, Chapa (Chhattisgarh).

22, 23 & 24 September 2005 at IIT Delhi:
Total number of participants was 41 from Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal, Uttaranchal, Uttar Pradesh & Bihar. It was organized at Neertara Farm House, Narela - Delhi.

In all these 3 training programmes held at Vardha, Chapa and Delhi, the main subject of trainings was on different methods of production of organic manure and it's use for production of organic food. These training programmes were very exhaustive and stress was given on actual construction of beds for making of organic manure. 

Upcoming events of Gram Vikas:

Abhyas Varga - Training Camp: 
During the months of November & December 3500 full time Karyakarta shall be trained for the production of Organic Manure for which complete training programme has been prepared.
